The thinking behind Lily UI’s color and shape: soft, warm, and approachable. Each color takes the name of a traditional Japanese color (和色).

Principles
- Softness comes from larger corner radii, wide soft shadows, and restrained motion.
- Warmth leads with the sasayuri lily and adds fuji-wisteria violet as the accent.
- Approachability comes from fixed color roles and Japanese set with room to breathe.
Named after traditional Japanese colors
Each role takes the name of a traditional Japanese color (和色): flower colors lead, with scarlet, amber, green, and indigo for status. The name tells you the role.
